Mastering influence is an intensive 11 hour audio program with lots of content. Therefore I found it nearly impossible to remember everything that the program taught me.
Although I took notes and already knew some of the tips based on my experience in sales, some parts were a little overwhelming due to the big load of information.
The way I overcame this problem was taking notes and reviewing them later. I also focused on learning the parts, that I found most important based on my weaknesses in selling, and putting less effort on the less essential parts.
The digital version requires a phone app
Although I don’t consider this a problem, I found it a little inconvenient that downloading a specific phone app was required. Once I purchased the digital version, I received an email with a download link for an app called Breakthrough. I created my account using the instructions given in the email, and was done in a few minutes.
A specific website would have made it easier, since downloading the app wasn’t required, but the app made listening the program extremely convenient once downloaded.
Therefore, some people may consider this part a pro, some a con. In my opinion, the benefits of the app are totally worth of spending a few minutes to download it and create an account.
Breakthrough app buggy?
When I downloaded the breakthrough app and completed the preparation, I was unable to log in. I even tried it with a different phone, and the same problem occurred.
